The Art of Nolan Hatcher

Nolan Hatcher
1951-1991
It would not be an overstatement to say that Lanny Hatcher was the "Poet Laureate" of the Raudelunas group.  In fact, the name Raudelunas was adopted from his novel in progress "The Raudelunas."  He was a key part of the group's early improvised music experiments (The Blue Denim Deals Without the Arms), playing primarily bass and cornet.  More importantly, his painting and his writing, his tenacity in locating and sharing interesting music and literature, and his friendship were a great influences on and inspirations to us all.
